Samere Ellis Delivers Best  Effort of Season
  Samere Ellis produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Eldorado to the win  on Thursday. Ellis rushed for 106 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries.
 With the  win, Eldorado broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 1-6. Ellis and Eldorado will have some time to savor their  victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pinecrest Academy Cadence at 6:00  p.m.  on October 24th.

 Pinecrest Academy Cadence had to settle for second  on Thursday, but  Levi Jones sure wasn't going down easily. Jones turned in nothing short of a gem, picking up  a  sack and making three total tackles. He didn't just play on offense: he also picked up  a  sack and made three total tackles.
 Pinecrest Academy Cadence's loss  ended  a  four-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 4-3. Jones and Pinecrest Academy Cadence will challenge Chaparral at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday.

Eldorado's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to  Tristan Savea
  Tristan Savea helped snap Eldorado's seven-game losing streak  dating back to last season. Valley had no answer to  Savea  on Thursday as he rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown on only 15 carries.
 This year,  Savea  has run in 6 touchdowns while averaging 77.4 rushing yards per game.

 Eldorado's seven-game losing streak  dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to  Jordan Malone. Malone produced his best game of the campaign  on Thursday: he rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown on only seven carries. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D,  making four total tackles and defending a pass.
 For the season,  Malone  has run in 2 touchdowns while averaging 29.4 rushing yards per game.

Wilson Posts Huge Game in  20-6  Victory
 Rounding off our Top Five is  Bakari Wilson of Canyon Springs. Wilson rushed for 78 yards and two touchdowns. He is becoming a predictor of Canyon Springs' success: when he posts  at  least two  rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-4 when he doesn't).
 The  victory (which was Canyon Springs' fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-4. Wilson and Canyon Springs will venture away from home to  take on Spring Valley  at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
