Pinecrest Academy Cadence had to endure a seven-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They were the clear victors by a 23-2 margin over the Desert Pines Jaguars on Wednesday. The matchup marked the Cougars' most dominant victory of the season.

Aliyah Kolish was a standout: she got on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Destiny Aguilar, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and one triple.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .737. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

Pinecrest Academy Cadence's win bumped their record up to 4-16. As for Desert Pines, they are on a 31-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-15.
