Softball Recap: Hartselle Wins Going Away Against Austin

Austin typically has all the answers at home, but on Tuesday Hartselle proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 13-6 margin over the Black Bears. The Tigers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won seven matches by seven runs or more this season.

Hartselle now has a winning record of 10-9-1. As for Austin, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-12-1.

Looking ahead, Hartselle will take on Muscle Shoals at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 7.82 runs per game on average), something the Tigers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Austin, they will square off against James Clemens at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
