There's no place like home for the Coweta Tigers, who bounced back after a tough loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against Nathan Hale by a score of 59-46 on Thursday. For Coweta, this counts as revenge for the 57-39 defeat Nathan Hale walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2023.
Coweta got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Cooper out in front who scored 14 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Connor Jensen, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
Coweta pushed their record up to 6-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Nathan Hale, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coweta won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Stilwell on January 19th. Nathan Hale won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Fort Gibson on January 19th.
