Don Bosco Prep (2-0) started the contest strong as they jumped ahead 24-15 at the end of the first quarter after McEachern scored the first six points of the game.
The second quarter saw McEachern battle back as the Indians were able to cut the deficit to 40-33 at the half behind 18 points from five-star Rutgers signee
Ace Bailey in the first 16 minutes of action.
Don Bosco Prep maintained a 47-39 lead mid-way through the third quarter before closing the period on a 15-2 run to give themselves a comfortable 62-41 lead headed into the fourth quarter.
The run started with a three-pointer from Harper with 3:15 remaining to give the Ironmen an 11-point advantage. Senior guard
Isaiah Brown then connected on a three-pointer from the corner off an assist from Harper.
Following a McEachern basket on the other end, Harper connected on a deep three-pointer from the left wing with just over one minute remaining in the third quarter to extend the advantage to 18 points before he knocked down a buzzer-beating shot from beyond the arc to extend the advantage to 21.
Bailey finished with 24 points and seven rebounds in the loss for the Indians.
Don Bosco Prep looks to continue their momentum tomorrow where they will take on National Top 10 No. 2 Long Island Lutheran (Brookville, N.Y.) in the first City of Palms Classic quarterfinal contest at 4:30 p.m.
McEachern (5-3) looks to bounce back with a showdown against Westminster Academy (Fort Lauderdale, Fla.) tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. in a consolation contest.
