It was another big night for Gwendlyn Mcgrew, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 14 rebounds. She hasn't dropped below 15points for eight straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Natalie Pineda, who scored 14 points along with two steals.
Pasadena Memorial's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 16-11. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.0 points per game. As for South Houston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-18 record this season.
Pasadena Memorial will take on Dobie at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Houston, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Channelview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Channelview has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 1.
