Football Recap: Mohave Accelerated Skates Past Red Rock with Ease

While Mohave Accelerated put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Red Rock. The Patriots blew past the Scorpions, posting a 52-0 win. The Patriots might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 50 points or more this season.

Mohave Accelerated's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Owen Honegger, who picked up 112 receiving yards and three scores. That's the most receiving touchdowns Honegger has posted since back in September of 2024. Another signal caller making a difference was Rylan Krahenbuhl, who threw for 145 yards and three touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes.

Mohave Accelerated was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 202 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 185 rushing yards in four consecutive matchups.

Mohave Accelerated's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Red Rock, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.

Coming up, Mohave Accelerated will welcome Bagdad at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Sultans will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more points each game than the last. As for Red Rock, they will head out to take on Mogollon at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
