This season hasn't been kind to the Isabella Mustangs, who are still winless after their 18th contest. They were outmatched by Maplesville on the road and fell 67-28. Isabella has struggled against the Red Devils recently, as their contest on Tuesday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
Maplesville found their leader in underclassman Nehemiah McCary, who scored 20 points along with three steals. McCary hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Jonathan Wilson, who scored 11 points along with eight assists and two steals.
Isabella dropped their record down to 0-18 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Maplesville, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-6.
Isabella's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on February 1st. Maplesville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
