The Clark Chargers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their third straight loss. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 42-20 walloping at the hands of Palo Verde. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Clark has scored all season.
Clark's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Trinity Tavita, who scored two points along with ten rebounds and six blocks, and Ariana Brown who scored ten points. Tavita has been hot recently, having posted eight or more rebounds the last seven times she's played.
Clark's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Palo Verde, their victory bumped their record up to 8-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Clark will take on Arbor View at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Nevada (Arbor View is ranked 31st, while Clark is ranked 33rd). As for Palo Verde, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Pahrump Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
