Archbishop McNicholas lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Andrew Ehlers, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Joey Thomas, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Trace Jallick was a one-man wrecking crew for Anderson as he scored 12 points along with seven rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Caden Piening, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds.
Archbishop McNicholas has not been sharp recently as the team's lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season. As for Anderson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Archbishop McNicholas will take on Badin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Archbishop McNicholas focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Saturday. As for Anderson, they and Winton Woods will face off at 7:30 p.m. on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Anderson has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 177 points over their last three matches.
