Softball Recap: Toledo Wins Going Away Against Toutle Lake

Toledo won the last time they faced Toutle Lake and things went their way on Thursday too. The Indians put the hurt on the Ducks with a sharp 12-3 victory. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won four matches by nine runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Toledo and bumps their season record up to 4-1-2. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.5 runs over those games. As for Toutle Lake, their loss dropped their record down to 4-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Toledo will face off against Eisenhower at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Toutle Lake, they will challenge Castle Rock at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rockets have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.17 runs per game on average), something the Ducks will no doubt try to take advantage of.
