The Orange Panthers will square off against the Jordan Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Orange's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Jordan's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
Orange was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against East Chapel Hill on Tuesday. Orange blew past East Chapel Hill 7-1. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won three contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Henry Hoffman was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). Another player making a difference was Kayden Bradsher, who scored a run and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.
Meanwhile, Jordan beat Athens Drive 7-3 on Wednesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Jaguars recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Philip Daly tossed a big game, striking out eight batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off six hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Peyton Jones, who scored two runs and stole Two bases. while going 1-for-3. C.J. Carrow was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.
Jordan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Athens Drive struck out nine times.
Jordan's win bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Orange, they now have a winning record of 4-3.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Orange has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.7 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Jordan struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5.7 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Orange came out on top in a nail-biter against Jordan in their previous meeting back in March of 2023, sneaking past 2-1. Will Orange repeat their success, or does Jordan have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
