In what's become a running theme this season, Buena Vista gave their fans yet another huge win on Tuesday. They blew past Comstock 50-26. Buena Vista pushed the score to 42-20 by the end of the third, a deficit Comstock had little chance of recovering from.
Buena Vista's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Alexander Porras, who scored 22 points along with three steals. Porras has been hot recently, having posted three or more steals the last three times he's played. Jaden Jurado was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and ten steals.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Iraan beat Comstock 51-47 on Friday.
Buena Vista is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 23-5 record this season. As for Iraan, their victory bumped their record up to 24-5.
