Devine won the last time they faced Pearsall and things went their way on Friday too. The Devine Warhorses took their match with ease, bagging a 61-25 win over the Pearsall Mavericks. The Warhorses have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Natalie Valle was a one-woman wrecking crew for Devine as she posted 28 points along with eight boards and three steals. Valle is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Airyanna Rodriguez, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and ten rebounds.

Devine smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least ten offensive rebounds in eight consecutive games.

Devine's victory was their ninth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 24-9. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.7 points per game. As for Pearsall, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-17.

Devine wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 50-44 loss against Floresville on the 4th. Pearsall has also already played their next contest (against Somerset), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
