Atrisco Heritage Academy came into Tuesday's matchup looking for another win against Valley, but Reese Villanueva wouldn't allow it. The Vikings came out on top against the Jaguars by a score of 3-1 on Tuesday thanks in part to Villanueva, who had 35 digs and five aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted 12 or more digs the last nine times she's played.

While Valley might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Atrisco Heritage Academy scored at least 18 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-18, 17-25, 25-22.

Valley's victory ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-5. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, their defeat ended a four-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-7.

Valley wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Valencia on the 25th. As for Atrisco Heritage Academy, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Hope Christian on the 27th.
