On Saturday, Almira-Coulee-Hartline faced Lummi in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Almira-Coulee-Hartline was completely in charge, breezing past Lummi 80-30. The win was familiar territory for the Warriors, who now have four in a row.
The matchup started off well for the Warriors, whose offense put up 58 first-half points. Lummi wasn't quite able to keep up, scoring 30 to make it 58-30 heading into the break. Almira-Coulee-Hartline put the game away in the third quarter with 16 points from the offense and zero points allowed from the defense.
Almira-Coulee-Hartline will take on Naselle in each of the teams' third playoff contest next week. Naselle has averaged 57.45 points over the course of their past 11 games, so the Warriors might be in for a challenge. Lummi's playoff loss brings an end to their season.
