Latin got a  massive  performance out of  Drew Lufrano, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, four  RBI,  and two  runs. That's the most  runs  Lufrano has posted since back in May of 2024.  John Rose was another key player,  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances with three  runs, two  RBI,  and one  double.
 Latin was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .500. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Holy Trinity had just enough and edged out Fasman Yeshiva  4-2 on Wednesday.
 Holy Trinity saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Noe Hernandez, who  went 1-for-3 with one  run, one  double,  and one  RBI.
 Holy Trinity pushed their record up to 16-8 with the  victory, which was their ninth straight  at home. Those  home  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Latin, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.
