South Hunterdon and Dayton played the most hotly contested game in Mid-State 38 - Hills this week, with South Hunterdon eventually emerging with a 14-10 victory. Toby Coleman ran for 117 yards in the win.
Pingry made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 12,326 from 12,567. The improvement came about via a 13-6 victory over Brearley last week.
Manville's dynamic duo of Anthony Zuhone and Max Miller proved tough for New Providence to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Zuhone threw for 115 yards and Miller had 52 yards receiving. Erik Warren helped Manville's passing attack out by catching two balls for 32 yards.
Garry Roach was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 150 yards on 13 carries as Bound Brook lost to the Pioneers. Teammate Michael Johnson added to the ground attack by rushing for 29 yards.
The Crusaders' Jalen Wheeler and Isaiah Williams have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Wheeler has thrown for 1625 yards this season, while Williams, a 5-foot-9 receiver, has 32 catches for 645 yards. The Eagles' Devon Troutman leads the league in rushing yards with 603.
