Yariana Lugo Perez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for East River, scoring 17 points along with nine rebounds and three steals. The game was Lugo Perez's fifth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Jillian Torres, who scored six points along with six rebounds and four steals.
University bumped their record down to 3-6 with that loss, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season. As for East River, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.
