The Sheehan Titans's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 58-57 to Career Magnet. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
When it comes to explaining why Sheehan lost, one person who can't be blamed is Owen Hotaling. Despite the final result, he dropped a double-double on 30 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kade Marcantonio, who scored 13 points.
Sheehan bumped their record down to 0-1 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home dating back to last season. As for Career Magnet, the win was the third in a row (dating back to last season) for them, bringing their record for this year to 1-0.
Sheehan will be home for the holidays to greet Shelton at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Career Magnet, they will head out on the road to face off against Cheshire at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
