It was fun while it lasted, but Mosinee's undefeated season came to an end after five games on Saturday. They took a hard 80-61 fall against the Freedom Irish. The loss was the Indians' first of the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Mosinee fell to 5-1. As for Freedom, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Mosinee will be home for the holidays to greet Antigo at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Mosinee knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matchups -- so hopefully Antigo likes a good challenge. Freedom and Oconto Falls will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Freedom's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
