They claimed a resounding 54-14 victory over Lincoln at home. The result was nothing new for Ell-Saline, who have now won four matches by 34 points or more so far this season.
Ell-Saline's win was their third straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-1. Even more impressive is the teams they beat to make that streak: Lincoln, Clifton-Clyde, and Little River. As for Lincoln, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.
Ell-Saline will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Quinter at 7:00 p.m. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Kansas (Quinter is ranked 24th, while Ell-Saline is ranked 12th). As for Lincoln, they will head out on the road to face off against Rawlins County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Rawlins County focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up four on Friday.
