The Lincoln Lynx lost against the Bishop Heelan Catholic Crusaders back in February of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Lincoln was beaten by the Crusaders 72-37. Lincoln has not had much luck with the Crusaders recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
When it comes to explaining why Lincoln lost, one person who can't be blamed is Hutson Rau. Despite the final result, she scored 19 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Lincoln has traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-10 record this season. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 17-1.
Lincoln will head out on the road to challenge the Crusaders at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Marian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Thursday. As for Bishop Heelan Catholic, they and the Cardinals will face off on February 6th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. South Sioux City is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road.
