Sidney is 9-1 against Fairborn since January of 2018, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Sidney Yellowjackets are on the road again and play against the Fairborn Skyhawks at 7:15 p.m. on December 19th. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the pair will really light up the scoreboard.
Sidney scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They walked away with a 60-49 win over Stebbins.
Meanwhile, Fairborn beat Piqua 56-47 on Friday.
Jadon Larson was his usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with six rebounds and three steals. Those three steals set a new season-high mark for him. Another player making a difference was Achiel Dunwiddie, who scored ten points.
Sidney's victory was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.5 points per game. As for Fairborn, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
Sidney strolled past Fairborn when the teams last played back in January by a score of 80-66. Will Sidney repeat their success, or does Fairborn have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
