The match pitted two dominant signal callers against one another in Lane Sceals and Brock Johnson. Sceals had a great game and threw for 278 yards and one TD while completing 79.3% of his passes. Meanwhile, Johnson was balling out in the loss, rushing for 73 yards and a pair of scores on only seven carries, while also throwing for 142 yards on 11 of 20 attempts.
Meanwhile, everything came up roses for John Milledge Academy against Frederica Academy on Friday as the team secured a 35-7 victory. The Trojans might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.
John Milledge Academy's win came from a few key players Deerfield-Windsor will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Asa Wall, who picked up 106 receiving yards and one touchdown, and also rushed for 96 yards and one TD on only nine carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in August. Another player making a difference was Lewis Cheney, who threw for 139 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
John Milledge Academy didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The team can thank two different players for their defensive prowess: Bryce McDonel and Malek Dorsey, who each picked up one interception apiece. McDonel got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
John Milledge Academy's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Deerfield-Windsor, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.
We should be in store for an exciting game as the two teams have no problem gaining yardage. Deerfield-Windsor has been on an offensive roll this season, having averaged 366.1 total yards per game. However, it's not like John Milledge Academy struggles in that department as they've been averaging 358.4 total yards. With a pair of commanding offenses duking it out, the defenses are going to have their work cut out for them.

Thankfully for the Knights, Briggs Eady (who rushed for 199 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 11.1 yards per carry, and also threw for 106 yards and one TD on only eight passes) won't be suiting up this time.
