The Sundance Bulldogs pushed their score all the way to 61 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 69-61 hit to the loss column at the hands of Big Horn. Sundance has struggled against Big Horn recently, as their contest on Friday was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.
It was another big night for Gavin Stafford, who went 6 for 9 from beyond the arc en route to 31 points and 1 assist for Big Horn. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Stafford has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Gibson, who scored 15 points along with five assists and two steals.
Sundance's defeat dropped their record down to 11-8. As for Big Horn, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season.
Sundance didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 78-46 defeat vs. Wright on the 10th. Big Horn has also already played their next matchup, a 74-63 win against Moorcroft on the 10th.
