Leading Van Vleck to victory were Peyton Huerta and Corey Austin. Huerta dropped a double-double on 13 points and 12 rebounds, while Austin scored 12 points along with nine rebounds and seven steals. Austin is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last ten games he's played. Another player making a difference was Hector Mares, who scored seven points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Van Vleck's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 16-7. As for Danbury, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season.
