Monticello has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will  face off against the North Summit Braves at 2:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. North Summit took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Monticello, who comes in off a win.
 Monticello will roll into the  contest after a wild two-game stretch: they didn't score any  runs  on Tuesday, then bounced right back against Dove Creek  on Friday. Monticello had just enough and edged Dove Creek out  15-14.
  Cache Young made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   tossing 2.2 innings while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Young has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Young was also big at the plate,  scoring a  run while  getting on base  in three of his five plate appearances.
 In other batting news, Monticello let  Arturo Guitierrez and  Camren Carpenter loose on the outfield. Guitierrez  scored two  runs while going 3-for-5, while  Carpenter  scored three  runs while  getting on base  in all four of his plate appearances. Another player making a difference was  Kooper Nielson, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-4.
 Meanwhile, North Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight  loss. They lost  10-0 to Duchesne.
 Monticello's victory bumped their record up to 4-10. As for North Summit, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-19.
 North Summit's hitters will have their work cut out for them  on Tuesday. Monticello has been retiring batters left and right this season,  having  averaged 8.4  strikeouts per game. It's a different story for North Summit, though, as  they've been averaging  only 4. Will Monticello keep running through batters, or will North Summit buck the trend?
