Redlands (Calif.) jumped out to an early lead against
Palm Desert (Calif.) and never looked back on the way to a 26-13 victory on Saturday.
The Terriers scored six points in the first quarter. Redlands scored on a touchdown run by
Darryl Miller and a touchdown.
RHS was up 20-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by Miller in the first quarter.
The Terriers saw their 20-point halftime lead fall to 13 entering the fourth.
The Aztecs'
Joseph Castelli was the standout player for his team. The senior quarterback ran for one touchdown.
Craig Lee stood out for Redlands in the win. The senior running back ran for two touchdowns. A member of the Top 25 Running Backs, Lee has now scored five touchdowns on the season.
The loss was the third in a row for Palm Desert. With the win RHS extended its winning streak to three games.
In a non-conference game next week Redlands (3-1) takes on Palm Springs, and Palm Desert (0-3) will go up against San Jacinto also in a non-conference game.
