Christ Presbyterian Academy waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They had just enough and edged out the Brentwood Academy Eagles 4-2. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Lions also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Christ Presbyterian Academy pushed their record up to 9-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Brentwood Academy, they moved to 8-4 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Christ Presbyterian Academy is taking a road trip to face off against Lipscomb Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brentwood Academy, they will be playing at home against Harpeth Hall at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The Eagles are facing the Honeybears at the right time seeing as the Honeybears are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
