The Greensboro Raiders can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They skirted past Greene County 40-38. The win was just what Greensboro needed coming off of a 70-20 defeat in their prior game.
Greene County's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Jhari Barnes, who scored 11 points. Another player making a difference was Jeremiah Bullock, who scored 8 points.
Greensboro's win bumped their record up to 1-3. As for Greene County, their defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 0-7.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greensboro will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hatch at 8:00 p.m. on December 12th. Greene County is on the road again on Wednesday and play against Demopolis at 5:00 p.m. on December 6th.
