Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Marshall). They breezed by the Clinton Cougars to the tune of 96-67 on Monday. That's more bragging rights for the Cardinals, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory got Marshall back to even at 2-2. As for Clinton, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Marshall will welcome Abundant Life at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Abundant Life knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Marshall likes a good challenge. As for Clinton, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Clinton Cougars challenge the Brodhead Cardinals at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Clinton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
