The Minarets Mustangs''s three-game losing streak came to an end on Thursday. They blew past Parlier 35-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Minarets, who have now won five contests by 34 points or more so far this season.
Minarets got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Torin Wolf out in front who threw for 133 yards and three touchdowns. Joey Lamadrid was another key contributor, picking up 67 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Minarets' defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB three times. Leading the way was Matthew Carlton and his two sacks.
Minarets now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Parlier, their loss was their tenth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-8.
Minarets will challenge Yosemite at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parlier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Riverdale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
