Football Recap: Keenan Starts Season with Victory on the Road

Keenan had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They walked away with a 30-22 victory over the Dreher Blue Devils on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Raiders, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hunter O'Neal had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 183 yards and a pair of scores. Jordan Wilson also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

When it comes to explaining why Dreher lost, don't look at Brandon Mack. Despite the final result, he rushed for 118 yards and three touchdowns.

Looking ahead, Keenan will square off against Pendleton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Dreher, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lakewood at 7:30 p.m. on September 5.
