After a string of three wins, Theodore's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They fell 47-42 to the Gulfport Admirals.

When it comes to explaining why Theodore lost, don't look at Zaley Pickens. Despite the final result, she went 8-for-17 en route to 16 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals. Pickens is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in each of the last four games she's played. Jordyn Woodyard was another key player, putting up 11 points and three steals.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gulfport to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alayah H., who shot 55% from the field to rack up 12 points along with eight boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Jalesha Hanford, who went 5-for-7 on her way to 10 points and five rebounds.

Theodore's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Gulfport, the win keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Theodore didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 27-25 loss against Moss Point on the 2nd. As for Gulfport, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 48-39 defeat against Hancock on the 2nd.
