Basketball Recap: Friday's Win Is Penn Cambria's Third in Last Four Outings

Penn Cambria won the last time they faced Huntingdon, and Gavin Harrold did his part to make sure it happened again. The Penn Cambria Panthers walked away with a 59-51 win over the Huntingdon Bearcats on Friday thanks in part to Harrold, who shot 4-for-7 from long range and almost dropped a double-double on 18 points and nine rebounds. That's the most points he has posted since back in January of 2024.

Penn Cambria has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season. As for Huntingdon, they have also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-9 record this season.

Penn Cambria didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 51-44 victory against Bishop Carroll on the 3rd. Huntingdon has also already played their next contest, a 78-51 loss against Bishop Guilfoyle on the 3rd.
