The Legacy Lightning will challenge the Erie Tigers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Legacy is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last ten games.
Legacy gave up the first runs on Wednesday, but they didn't let that get them down. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Fairview, sneaking past 3-2.

Max Harbridge looked comfortable as he pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off five hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Legacy's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Jason Olsen, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Erie duked it out with Niwot on Tuesday. The Tigers blew past the Cougars 8-1. Considering the Tigers have won seven contests by more than six runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Maddox Burnett made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. Burnett was also big at the plate, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one triple, one stolen base, and one run.
In other pitching news, Kaden Bertsch looked comfortable as he pitched four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits.
Back at the plate, Ronin Ward was incredible, going 3-for-5 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Kodie Shafter, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI.
Erie is on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Legacy, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.
Saturday's matchup might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Legacy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .443. However, it's not like Erie struggles in that department as they've averaged .435. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Legacy took their win against Erie in their previous meeting back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 9-2 score. Do the Lightning have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
