Kyle Bond made a splash no matter where he played. On the mound, he pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. What's more, he posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in April of 2024. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-3.
In other batting news, Aidan Luepke was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-4. Grant Bartol was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Markesan now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Green Lake/Princeton, their record now sits at 1-0.
