First State Military Academy is 0-3 against Indian River since November of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The First State Military Academy Bulldogs will head out on the road to face off against the Indian River Indians at 6:00 p.m. First State Military Academy will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
Last Friday, First State Military Academy got themselves on the board against Early College, but Early College never followed suit. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-0 victory over the Hornets.
Meanwhile, even though Conrad Science scored an imposing 37 points on Friday, Indian River still came out on top. Indian River managed a 42-37 victory over Conrad Science. 42 seems to be a good number for Indian River as the squad scooped up a victory with the same number of points in their previous game.
Indian River got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jayvion W chandler out in front who rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.8 yards per carry. Another player making a difference was Darnell Stokes, who rushed for 94 yards and two touchdowns.
Their wins lifted both teams to an identical 6-3.
First State Military Academy was dealt a bruising 38-0 defeat at the hands of Indian River in their previous meeting back in October of 2022. Can First State Military Academy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
