Sadly, the Downsville Demons are still looking for their first win of the season after 24 games. They were dealt a 54-18 loss at the hands of Choudrant on Tuesday. Downsville was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 38-10.
Nathan Wolfe was Downsville's leading scorer, having posted five points.
Charles Vick held things down on the boards with six rebounds.
Downsville's defeat was their 26th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-24. As for Choudrant, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-12.
Downsville will be playing at home against Forest at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Downsville focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 19 on Tuesday. As for Choudrant, they will head out on the road to take on Claiborne Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
