Midlothian Heritage got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Grace Sweeney out in front who scored 18 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Batty, who scored 19 points.
Midlothian Heritage has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests, which provided a massive bump to their 23-10 record this season. As for Seguin, they are on a 14-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-21.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Midlothian Heritage will face off against the Yellowjackets at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cleburne is out to stop a seven-game streak of losses at home. As for Seguin, they will head out on the road to face off against the Wolves at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield Timberview is coming into the contest hot, having won their last 30 games.
