Hilton Head Christian Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Isaiah Anderson led the charge by scoring 15 points along with six rebounds and two blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Elijah White, who scored 13 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
When it comes to explaining why John Paul II lost, one person who can't be blamed is Christian Tilton. Despite the final result, he scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Godsun, who scored nine points.
Hilton Head Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for John Paul II, their loss dropped their record down to 10-8.
Hilton Head Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next match is against the Pirates at 5:30 p.m. on January 27th. Brunswick is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 58 points per game this season. As for John Paul II, they will head out on the road to challenge the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
