While Ravenna put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Sacred Heart Academy. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Irish. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 11 matches by eight runs or more this season.

Ravenna pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Sacred Heart Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-4.

Ravenna will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Irish: the pair will be back at it again later today.
