Leading Curtis Baptist to victory were Abby Coughlin and Maci Butler. Coughlin scored 11 points along with six steals, while Butler dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten rebounds. Butler is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last 14 games she's played. Addison Hunt was another key contributor, scoring two points along with ten rebounds and two steals.
South Aiken Baptist Christian dropped their record down to 0-7 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Curtis Baptist, the victory (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 17-5.
