The Buckley Bears lost against the Glen Lake Lakers back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Buckley suffered a tough 68-48 defeat at the hands of the Lakers. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Buckley in their matchups with the Lakers: they've now lost five in a row.
Jacob Plamondon was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds for Glen Lake. Another player making a difference was Dylan Cundiff, who almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds.
Buckley's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for Glen Lake, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season.
Buckley will be playing at home against the Comets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Leland has now lost eight straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 19. As for Glen Lake, they will head out on the road to take on the Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
