Woodbine had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They ended up on the wrong side of a painful 40-70 walloping at Kingsley-Pierson hands. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Woodbine off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Kingsley-Pierson a 1-0 record.
Next week, Woodbine take on Ar-We-Va at 7:00 PM. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up. As for Kingsley-Pierson, they will face of against West Harrison.
