With a playoff game on the line, Belt rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past Wibaux, posting a 70-6 win on the road.
Meanwhile, Ennis faced Circle in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Ennis breezed by Circle at home to the tune of 67-26.
CLINTIN BUYAN continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 141 yards and six touchdowns, while also rushing for 88 yards and a touchdown. CHAZ VELAND was another key contributor, gaining 155 total yards and a touchdown.
Their wins bumped Belt to 7-1 and Ennis to 11-0.
