The Wakulla Christian School Saints will head out on the road to challenge the Franklin County Seahawks at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Wakulla Christian School focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 21 on Thursday.
Last Thursday, Wakulla Christian School came up short against the Bulldogs and fell 53-43. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Wakulla Christian School in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Freddy McClendon, who almost dropped a double-double on nine points and nine rebounds. It was the first time this season that he pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Korey Paynter, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.
Meanwhile, even though FAMU DRS scored an imposing 63 points on Thursday, Franklin County still came out on top. Franklin County managed a 69-63 win over the Baby Rattlers.
Wakulla Christian School dropped their record down to 1-15 with that loss, which was their seventh straight at home. As for Franklin County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-11.
