Jordan has been hot recently, having posted 18 or more points the last three times she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nakera M Hawkins, who had 14 points.
When it comes to explaining why South Effingham lost, don't look at Hayden Johanson. Despite the final result, she dropped a double-double on 29 points and ten rebounds. Those 29 points gave Johanson a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Kailyn Chapman, who put up ten points and six assists.
Effingham County's win ended a ten-game drought on the road and puts them at 2-18. As for South Effingham, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 12 of their last 13 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.
