  Laine Barrier made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and  went 3-for-4 with a  stolen base, two  RBI,  and a  double.  Kanton Trull was another key contributor,  scoring a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Even though they lost, Patton was hitting in the alleys and  finished the game with three  doubles. That's the most  doubles they've managed all season.
 The  win  got Mitchell back to even at 4-4. As for Patton, their loss dropped their record down to 3-5.
 Mitchell's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's   matchup. Mitchell has been swiping bases left and right this season,  having  averaged 2.9  stolen bases per game.
